| The four-bedroom Villa Dewi Sri named after the goddess of rice is beautiful, hassle free and calm. It was designed to accommodate and fulfill the needs of a Western couple with two young daughters, who occasionally take holidays in Bali, but are also happy for other holidaymakers, especially families, to stay at their delightful home. Here, tropical living is the theme, characterized by an open-sided living & dining pavilion, balconies, roof terraces and glass doors that slide open to invite the garden inside.
This is further enhanced by garden-bathrooms, an air-conditioned family room, a fully-equipped feature kitchen, a 17-metre swimming pool and a shady pergola, against a beautiful rice field backdrop. Guests enter the villa via stepping stones over an exotic lily pond and through a long hallway, which exudes space and light due to its clear pergola roof. |

| Villa Radha incorporates a self contained, one-bedroom house known as the Gladak, which stands alone in its own beautiful garden, complete with a private swimming pool and a dedicated spa. Villa Rhada also has its own private entrance and car parking, enabling it to be rented independently as a one-bedroom property.
The century-old Gladak House oozes romance and history, combined with luxurious furnishings and high tech facilities. This traditional teakwood building, which was once the home of a nobleman, was disassembled and transported from a small town in central Java, famous for its intricately carved woodwork. The house presides over a serene watergarden and is entered via a set of wooden steps. The raised verandah at the front is a great place to sit and relax; it is furnished with lazy chairs and softly lit at night by glass globe lanterns. Inside is an air-conditioned bedroom, with the alternative facility of a ceiling fan, which hangs from the soaring roof. This majestic bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, antique wardrobe, floor rug, chairs and a desk, and is equipped with an LCD flat screen satellite-channel TV and DVD player.
There is also a small kitchenette for the use of guests at the Gladak. The adjoining indoor/outdoor bathroom is fitted with a dreamy river rock bathtub and an indoor walk-in rainshower, as well as a second rainshower situated in the private walled garden for an alfresco experience under the stars.
Guests choosing the Gladak as a private one-bedroom option have exclusive and sole access to the spa and its adjacent swimming pool.
The spa presents another example of a delightful old timber building from Java. It incorporates just one room and is furnished with twin massage beds, offering pampering treatments and traditional spa rituals and therapies, which are designed to be shared by couples, yet can be enjoyed by singles. The shelves overflow with essential oils and natural products. The spa is positioned next to the freeform swimming pool in a secluded private section of the magical gardens. A shower is located immediately outside. |
